At iCohort.com, we are committed to respecting your privacy rights. With this in mind, we’ve created this Privacy Policy Statement to provide you with a clear indication of our information practices and what you can expect should you visit and use our site.

(a) TRAFFIC DATA COLLECTED. Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not personally identify you. The information is used primarily to help us analyze how the site is functioning, the visitor usage patterns and to accumulate aggregate data.

In order for you to join and take advantage of site functions, we require you to provide us with certain information that personally identifies you (“Personal Information”). Personal Information may include the following categories of information: (1) Contact Data such as your name and e-mail address.  You will then have the option, but are not required, to provide us with further data about yourself. If you communicate with us by e-mail, post resumes or messages to any of our chat groups, bulletin boards, or forums, or otherwise complete online forms, surveys, or contest entries, any information provided in such communication may be collected as Personal Information.

USES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED

(a) COMPANY USE OF INFORMATION. We do NOT currently use Contact Data to send you information about our company or our products or services, or promotional material from our partners, or to contact you unless an issue arises regarding your registration. We will send you an email acknowledgement when you register to join the site, but will not send you any information otherwise.

(b) SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. We share certain categories of information we collect from you in the ways described in this Privacy Policy. We share Demographic Data with advertisers and other third parties only on an aggregate (i.e., non-personally-identifiable) basis.

  • We will NOT send you newsletters or other unsolicited communications.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we will keep your Personal Information private and will not share it with third parties, unless such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a court order or other legal process; (b) protect our rights or property; or (c) enforce our Terms of Service. Your Personal Information is stored on secure servers [SSL] that are not accessible by third parties.

 ·        USER ABILITY TO ACCESS, UPDATE, AND CORRECT PERSONAL INFORMATION. At any time, you may visit your personal profile within the site. Through your personal profile you may review and update you Personal Information that you have already provided.

·        LOST OR STOLEN INFORMATION. You must promptly notify us if your user name, or password is lost, stolen, or used without permission. Such a situation puts all other members and the site at risk for phishing and spyware attacks amongst others, so we need to know as soon as possible. In such an event, we will remove that user name, or password from your account and update our records accordingly.

·        PUBLIC INFORMATION. The Site contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites. We may also make chat rooms, forums, message boards, and news groups available to you. Please understand that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information. We have no control over its use and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your Personal Information.

·        RESUME POSTINGS. You will have the option of posting Resumes once you register. Please understand that said postings will be viewable by the public in general and you should have no expectation of privacy. It is highly recommended that you do NOT post your residential address and other information you do not want made available to the general public.

COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN USERS. Registered members of iCohort.com may communicate with other registered users in a variety of forms. When making a communication, your profile name and number of times your profile has been viewed may be displayed. When you “post” a communication, your information will be readily available to all viewers.

UPDATES AND CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY. We reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to add to, change, update, or modify this Privacy Policy, simply by posting such change, update, or modification on the Site and without any other notice to you. Any such change, update, or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site.
